An Evening Hymn Comments

Everyone is referring to this poem as a prayer (and it is) , but notice the title (An Evening Hymn) . It is indeed a hymn, and I have sung at least the last verse of it at my church. The other verses I do not recognize, but the meter and the rhyme are wonderful. It's a great poem.

Every earnest soul would like to recite this prayer in the morning or at bed time. Beautiful prayer read after a long time. Thanks.

Certainly only a devotee could right such piece of godly poetry. Rhythm is superb supplied.
