堂前皓月灿菊媚
苑外斜风雏燕喳
柔性温情声婉转
冰肌玉骨貌绝佳


An Excellent Beauty

Outside the garden the oblique wind
the yang swallows chirped
In front of the hall the bright moon
the brilliant chrysanthemums are enchanting

With flesh of ice and bones of jade
her excellent appearance
Her voice sweet and agreeable
with a gentle character and a warm feeling
