An Honest Decision Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

An Honest Decision

Rating: 5.0

I had to take honest decision
So far it didn’t take off due to indecision
I should be blamed for this lapse
She was ready to accept me perhaps

She may stare at me all the way
She will not gather the strength and say
Her movements made me think seriously
She will come to see me continuously

I only loved her and told too
It was equally correct and true
I was touching her centre nerve
It was all open to observe

She may utter few words in air
I may not guess it very clear
I could read some worries and fear
How long she may have to endure and bear?

Her eyes may open only half
Neither could I neither cry nor laugh
She desperately needed my company
Without long I had to opt and accompany

I brought her close to the chest
Her face was turned to the west
She couldn’t hide it at her best
I had to make adjustment for the rest

May be this is the crucial test
You can’t afford single minute to waste
It is question of meeting soul and mind
Where one can find such union of its kind?

Females are like “touch me not” plant
No one may prefer such a stage or want
It has to be done nicely with good arrangement
It has to be unbroken and firm commitment

The days may not pass of that easily
If either of them breach oath hastily
The sacred oath should not be violated cunningly
These are special occasions which must be opted for willingly
