An Illusion Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

An Illusion

Rating: 5.0

An illusion

It was with surprise
For me who was considered not wise
Even though, the love was always in mind
As I had no other option to find

No, he was simple and sober
With all his resolve to alter
The old tradition and break free
It always fascinated me

I took him seriously
And gave heart whole heartily
I was dreaming day and night
And feeling so high with delight

But it turned out to be an illusion
He was proven with confusion
His proposal for permanent relation baffled
I was forced to believe him not and remained truly led

For me, the love had divine bearing
So I started fearing now
He looked coward in my eyes
I brushed off his memory and appearance in mind

Dreaming day and night in whole mind is wide and wise but illusion impacts life very much attracting towards matters. Divine bearing breaks illusion and takes us towards eternity. Amazing poem is shared.10
