An Indonesian Finger Pointing Game - Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

'tis tropical topical due season of the flood again
petty Indonesian politicians play their blame game
an Indonesian finger pointing game of stupid shame

a big mouth governor who ruled Jakarta ten years ago?
who did nothing to prevent put in new flood drains?
shoots his fat cat mouth off blames present governor?

another arrogant governor? from a mere five years ago?
who feathered his pocket also did no flood preventions?
screams there were no such floods when I was in office?

yes Lt-Gen Sutiyoso eleven years governor did nothing?
yes Dr. Ing. H. Fauzi Bowo five years governor did nothing?
yes Ir. Joko Widodo 3 months governor has tried so hard!

it was Jokowi who had clogged drains cleaned out got into drains
to prove to Jakarta's people that corruption 2 metre flood drains
were built only to a depth of 0.6 of a metre a disaster waiting?

immediately in November 2012 Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo
said Cengkareng Drain II River needs to be built to anticipate
flood in West Jakarta news flash construction was first studied

in 2008 an internal study predicted to need 10 years construction
therefore all politicians petty officials in Indonesia in Jakarta do
not blame new Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo for present wows!

not only in Indonesia, everywhere in the developing poor nations of the world, the problem of this kind persist to discomfort the people's day to day life. The questions we have to ask here are, who practices corruption and how do they practice it? There are two types of corruptions 1. The sub sub sub contractors do the shoddy job to reap a meager profit 2. The tendered amount is so huge that the politicians and the foreign contractors are comfortable to get their big slice of pie..... (Report) Reply
