An Injustice Of A Justice Distrusted Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

An Injustice Of A Justice Distrusted

When laws to create,
Become broken by those who make them...
What rule of law is there left to obey.
Or values to keep when allowed to fade.
Away to prove them worthless.
When an injustice of a justice distrusted,
Begins to disgust.
In unbelievable ways displayed.
Exposing corruption.
Lowlife crooks in suits but petty thieves.
Creeping out of the gutters.
Disrupting in such a destructive disarray,
To hear it heard publically everyday...
Who or what permits this craze to exist.
It can not be those claiming,
Themselves to be superior.
You know...
The ones born with the right genes for genius.
And high unquestionable intelligence.
