Those fiery skies hued red and grey
And birds in silence say,
Do hark to that stillness cool
A thunder-squall's on way.
Leaves and blossoms their heads hung low
Deferentially bow,
Pleading with winds to tell the clouds
It ought fulfill its vow.
Gathering murk and falling dusk
Lightening with thunder brusque,
The wild wind spraying soothing drops
With sweet fragrance of musk.
Drenching boughs and my pained soul too
That had since long been blue,
With memories of our romance
And love I shared with you.
Come dance with me in falling rain
That it may ease our pain,
Back in time you had loved me so
Come love me once again.
Let time pause on a sharp incline
Enduring sweet as wine,
When in my arms you'll whisper soft -
That you were always mine.
Shall sink into your hazel eyes
Our lips entwined in sighs,
My frenzied passion fusing with
Raindrops upon your thighs.
Your bosom melting in my chest
Dark mane a lovers' nest,
Your soft contours tempting me
At Venus's behest.
Where art thou lost my sweetheart love
Come spread your treasure-trove,
Tarry not for the rain-clouds flee
To far heavens above.
Your notes are as sweet and discerning as your poetic portrayal of nature's moods on a rainy day. And that, too, treated from the lover's point of view. Enjoyed reading it. Thank you, Amar.
