An Ominous Day Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

An Ominous Day

What can I say?
How can I write?
It's the worst shame for the civilized nation,
We must hide our faces,
The mighty sun covers himself under the dark clouds,
He is greatly ashamed.
Oh, what a horrible incident!
In the farthest corner she is standing alone-helpless and cruelly oppressed by the ruthless assaulters,
Crying bitterly in absolute pain and agony,
In this ominous day
She has lost her most valuable treasure,
She has lost everything;
What can I say?
What can I write?
My soul is bleeding profusely,
Still I have to depict,
I write about her with my grievous heart and trembling hand,
Immediately after it I burst into tears.
