an onion
at face

value

behind
orange
yellowish

weathered face

husky
peeling
mask

world shown

are layers
stacked
compiled

impenetrable

onion
is not
a tear duct

teaser

single
slice
knife

stroke unleashes

not
a single
pure

pearl tear

but
tsunami
wave

irritant flow

sting
master
chief

proves immune to
