An Unsettling Forlorn Longing - Poem by john tiong chunghoo

a return
the town without you
has lost its soul - my soul -
the whole spectre
digs deep into me
unsettling me -
a forlorn longing in a town
that has turned its back on me
as if i do not exist anymore
