Analeptic Reasons Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Analeptic Reasons

A leaf lay fallen on the ground
Bade goodbye to its parent tree
For analeptic reasons found
It feeds the soil submissively
Giving self for life to renew
Embraced again its source of birth
Silently drinking morning's dew
A fallen leaf though dead, has worth.
