The sages peered into the future
As Salvation humbled Himself in swaddling clothes
The prophet wept
The wise read Him on the Star
Even as He shone His bright shadow over the nightly pastures
The manger was all lit up in glory
The eternal Star on the lap of an unassuming maiden
Defying the mystics and the mystical
Those who for long waited, bowed in owe
Captives rejoiced
Wake up, therefore, and put on your wedding garments
It's the home coming week
Glorious is the march
For the weeding feast is set
Free is our song as we enter therein!
