And Then I Remember You Poem by Arun Maji

And Then I Remember You

Rating: 5.0

And then I remember you.

I touch my heart.
It's achy, tender;
Missing you.

I hear a tune of flute
Echoing in walls of my heart.
It takes me to that distant riverside-
Where, you and I
Watched starry night sky.
And then suddenly,
I could feel you-
Your tender touch, soft whisper

I cannot forget you.
Can I?

See, longing so long and hard
Yet no trace of your presence.
Only loneliness
Only aches
Only anguish.

You are lost in spin of time.
Where to?
I do not know.

Yet, your laughter echoes in my heart,
Your whisper plays with my soul.
And I see no freedom.
No freedom from pain
That is so sweet with your memory.
