Anderson Cmxxxvii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

My love is from the heart
Also, are my tears
As my mind aches with the emptiness
That my arms are experiencing
I cannot bear it anymore
The separateness keeps me
As I stare at the blacken ceiling
Until my eyes close
I wake up too late to go out
As the rain falls heavily into my core
Rusting it to my bones
There's nothing left for you to see
Or to save our love
