Angel Poem by Mindy Brown

Angel

she appeared to me in my time of need,
when i was down on my knees praying for a better time, a better world, and a happier life
her wings were like a golden sunrise,
her eyes filled with a greater wisdom than that of a mortal, and when she touched me my heart swelled with the
love and caring i felt pouring from her fingertips,
nothing in this small world we call earth compared to her beauty of heart and soul,
she made me want to do the impossible, so i could feel her majestic touch one more time,
but alas i was to never see her beauty ever again,
she had been sent to keep me from doing the unimaginable suicide and nothing more,
i know in my soul that if she had stayed her pure heart would have been ruined by our cruel world,
the thought of her always kept me from the edge of committing suicide but when i thought about suicide
i always relived that memory of the time i was graced with Her glorious presence,
and i think about what would have happened if She had not saved me.

this poem is about an angel but in reality my angels are my family.....
