Angel Of Darkness Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Angel Of Darkness

Oh my angel of darkness.
How do I keep your temptation at bay.
How do I deny the sudden rush of lust.
A desire that drives me mad every single day.
Is it so wrong to want your bad, want your evil intentions.
Going down in the wrong way.
Oh why does it feel so good.
Chasing the demon.
Kissing the dragon.
Knowing nothing good can come from it.
But still I can't resist as you insist.
With promises of all that's golden.
I know all the lies.
Sometimes there fine.
If you could see the more then meets those darkening eyes.
Tears hidden behind a blinding sunrise.
I'm damage goods.
Wounded one too many times.
Scars of chameleon.
Beauty in the flaws of the slowly dieing.
Oh angel darkness give me excitement in the pain you inflict upon my retched soul.
Because I have already lost all control.
With the heart I stole to make my own.
Walking down a creek splashing water upon my face.
Wake up, wake up, feel something.
It has never been so uncomfortablely numb.
But I need what you offer.
A ying to my yang.
You have me right where you want me.
So do your worse.
Pour the gasoline, light the match, and grab the popcorn.
Watch as I burn.
The fire won't last long.
And it won't be the first.
And still not sure your even my worse.
But my angel of darkness, I will always love you, and your damned contradiction of a heart.
