Anger Poem by B.M Lewis

Anger

The burn to my heart,
The flames in my eyes,
The crimson color of my face,
You know I'm tired of your lies.
When I see your face,
I see only red.
I hear your words, and
The things that you said.
I know you have you secrets.
You're waiting for the fish to bite.
What is done in the dark,
Shall come into light.
I'll forgive you eventually.
I'll rid of the danger.
But just for right now,
You'll have to deal with my anger.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This was inspired by my father. He was never around much. I 'hated' him for a while because he wasn't in my life. I wrote this because I needed a way to reach out to him.
