....Anita Hill....Once Thought....Absurd Poem by James B. Earley

....Anita Hill....Once Thought....Absurd

Too long...brushing aside...the obvious
......Anita Hill once thought absurd
'Tis those of us who care that matters
As one we stand...our voices heard

Dare Ford suffer...this darkest hour
Grassley's minions....intimidate...
"Pussy grabbing" acts of power
....Women's bodies....desecrate

Might Clarence Thomas be yet amongst us
Years unresolved those nagging tears
.....Allegations...long thought buried
In Kavanaugh....now.....reappear.....

It's those of us who care that matters
.....United...stand....our voices heard
Too long we've brushed aside the image
....Anita Hill....once thought....absurd

Author's note:
Christine Blasey Ford, the professor accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.
