....Deviants....In Congress Poem by James B. Earley

....Deviants....In Congress

Author's note:
Were tears, Brett shed.....dread....about the bed - thirty-six years...mostly....left unsaid?

As per usual....'tis politics...
America viewed at its worst
....Deviants....in Congress
Society witnessing the curse

Ain't answering no questions
....So he ain't...telling no lies
His Honor's dubious behavior
....Exposing truth in disguise

If it weren't for the gravity
....One might look on in pity
At the cantankerous old man
.....His Judiciary Committee

Watched proceedings...all morning
....Throughout most of the day
Lindsey Graham's.....flimflam
......On contemptuous display

Women....having suffered
....Degradation humiliation
Simply...summing it all up
...In terms of frustration

If it weren't for the horrors
...One might...look on...in pity
At the cantankerous old man
...His disingenuous....committee
