Another Blessed Year
Another blessed year
Sunday,17th May 2020
I enter 74th step of beautiful journey
offer prayer and bow down to an almighty
for keeping me safe. hale and hearty
and thank to the goddess of poetry
what else can be the source of energy?
when you are committed to the path of poetry
write ceaselessly and purposefully
for the cause of peace and humanity
readers had been source of my strength in abundance
they not only provided me chance
but inside courage to write at once
and show the presence
I shall wish to thank
all my well wishers who have always inked
their feelings in support
and have come out all the way to land me safely at the port
I certainly feel fulfilled soul
and nothing to feel sore
with beautiful people around
and to venture on this holy and heavenly ground
How shall I forget my lovelywife and mother
Who are no more here
Both gave me free space and an opportunity
With their blessings to work for peace and humanity through poetry
