Another Chance Poem by Heaven Kalu

Another Chance

I am a child born of God
Living in this world as a god
Though I was conceived in sin
And given birth to in an inn
I retain my identity In Jesus Christ
Even if the world preaches anti-christ

He betrothed me His only begotten son
When sin thrived under the Sun
He called many into His righteousness
With their filthy garment of wickedness
Gave them power to choose life or death
But many still chose to die in dearth

We live in a sinfully godly world
Contented with the things of the world
No wonder we all behave in church
Because no one keeps record at church
Christianity is not a negotiable religion
Just as the angels in Heaven have legions

God wants your heart without a condition
Since he loved you without commission
And even if it takes a lifetime to know this
We can never underestimate the crucifix
In this world where gratitude is a No!
Dysfunctional attitude is all we know.
