Another Journey Ahead Poem by Subashini Ravichandran

Bags are eagerly packed,
ready to roll in to the next,
leaving behind the best of things
that made my world beautiful

journey that demands to leave
all those that brought memories
which made the heart grin and
some that hurt every nerve

Most bring stacks of hope,
but a handful ignite doubts
while every lesson deeply etched
will be carried along forever

there will be more reasons to smile,
more stumbling upon oneself,
some more difficult good-byes,
and more souls to lend your hands

the road ahead may be murky
there is a wish for a magic path
that will sprinkle colorful delight
and bloom joy in every step

For now hope is as bright,
that it masks the blind spots,
shields the occasional disbelief,
while I take the journey ahead
