Another New Year is upon us
We wonder what it will bring
We start in mid-winter
Look forward then to spring.

We pray good health will beckon
For us and those we care for
But we have no crystal ball
We have no idea what is in store.

The young folks look forward to
Fresh new plans to make
But older folks like I am
Are leery of what is at stake.

But regardless we must be positive
For we are about to shift gears
I wish the best for you my friend
As you enter another New Year!
