Another Wet Wednesday - Poem by Sean Joyce

On Wednesday I got to wondering
if there was perhaps a poem
underneath the wash-house basin.

With considerable effort and not a little pain
I disconnected the outflow and peered down the drain

This is not the end - because
I was unable to reconnect
and worse.
When I washed my hands then pulled the plug
I wet my feet.

You shouldn't be so nosy next time Sean, just stick to writing them not looking for them. Have you any galoshes, cos I'd put them on next time you go hunting! Great write, enjoyed it very much. Love Ernestine XXX (Report) Reply
