An Anthony's dart frog I be
Found in Peru and Ecuador.
There's penalty for touching me,
As poisons ooze from body pore.
On forest floors with streams nearby
Is where my kind can oft be found.
Upon leaf litter we do lie,
Hunting bugs in air and on ground.
When tadpoles hatch, they're carried on
Dad's back to nearest water source,
To go through change phenomenon
To change into a frog of course.
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo
This dart frog does play peek a boo.
