Anticapation Poem by Rhonda Baker

Anticapation

Rating: 5.0

Oh, spring hear my siren call
You must end this winter stall
No more can I take this abuse
For winter I have no more use
I long for days, where I can bask in the sun
To go outside and have some fun
To shed the layers of clothes I have wore
To open a window, to open a door
To feel a warm breeze upon my skin
Oh, Spring; when will you begin?
