Anxiety Poem by Jan Jelenc

Anxiety

Rating: 5.0

I would't want to describe it
I can even barely explain it to myself
though time passes mosty I don't even notice it
that probably being under my doing
but the one thing remains
tearing and roaring through my insides
ravagin my own fragily maintained calm
to me this all seems to long of a life
it seems so big and I am nothing if not
completly and utterly terrified of taking it all

Anxiety of life can be daunting at times, there are so many different facets to contend with. Sometimes we don't even realize our anxieties until our beings are ravaged by it's stress. When filled with anxiety we tend to see life as never-ending and too huge to deal with which can terrify some. We must just accept the fact that life will be hard at times, but try to remain motivated to problem solving, which leads to overcoming challenges in our lives.
