Anything For Love Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Anything For Love

Upon the winds of time was breathed the word saint,
Those who surrendered all to God, showing no restraint,
And walked the path of beauty and light in joyful delight,
While grace and peacefulness followed them into the night!

The torch was passed on with the solemn challenge to follow,
As the sun arcs the noonday sky, golden and never too slow,
And whispers of the Lord are spreading raptures everywhere,
And sweet promises are drifting down heaven's moonlit stair!

The pure heart of love's the only thing that springs eternal,
When evening sun sets on prelude twilit skies quite purple,
And the spirit is reborn in the deepest shadows of the day,
Like the rainbow that seemed to carry all the storms away!
