There are people who did about You rejoice but now do deny You
and still it's You who knows the heart and every secret
but it's as if they did lose their sincerity along the way,
others despise and make clichés of worship,
they get angry with prayers for meals and reading the Bible
but Your light are not yet extinguished in their lives
and I do beg, pull them back against You safely and close,
their earlier words did mean much to me in life
and still it's You who knows the heart and every secret.
