From the sin-fall the iniquity of man leaves You speechless.
You caused the flood in the time of Noah to come over the earth,
after that upon the earth saw Nimrod as a hunter of man,
saw how he built a tower and as a god made people serve him
en where war and pestilence is not from You I ask turn everything around
saltpetre-fire You made rain upon the earth at Sodom and Gomorrah
and right there the wife of Lot became a pillar of salt.
From the sin-fall the iniquity of man leaves You speechless.
and now in this apostate time no one can disguise sin.
