Apologize Poem by Jamie Walker

Apologize

Rating: 4.5

I sit here by the window
Watching the rain fall down,
From a gray cloud directly above me

Feeling empty and alone
And full of sorrow
For i know we could've avoided this
But i guess we never saw it coming to begin with

So, as i sit here and blame myself for this
Me, Myself And I
Not you,
You were the unknowing Victim

And I?
I was the Victim as much as the aggressor
And for all your pain I apologize
Eternally damned I feel

A good poem about personal responsibility. It takes a 'big' person to apolgize. Keep Writing.
