Apparent And Latent Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Apparent And Latent

When you are struck with a woman’s apparent beauty
You lose interest in it if not coped with her latent beauty.
If you are moved by a woman’s latent beauty
You are not tired; her apparent beauty matches or not.

Love one for the fire
And not for the hair.
