Applaudless Downpour Poem by michael Smajda

Applaudless Downpour

While he raindrops
Tap dance on
The metal rooftop,
The downspouts gurgle
Their own musical tune.
All the while, the ground,
In muddy disgust,
Waits for their idiotic
Performances to end soon.
