Appreciate - Poem by Dorsey Baker

clench your teeth
keep your lips closed
but don't bite
your tongue
when ugly thoughts
attack your thinking
take a long
long walk
flowers smell sweet
listen to the birds
as they sing their song
appreciate
appreciate
and let yourself
be at peace
and you can
if only you learn
to appreciate!
