Appreciate - Poem by Dorsey Baker

clench your teeth
keep your lips closed
but don't bite
your tongue
when ugly thoughts
attack your thinking
take a long
long walk
flowers smell sweet
listen to the birds
as they sing their song
and let yourself
be at peace
and you can
if only you learn
to appreciate!
