Are You Mine To Keep? Poem by Matthew Rousseau

Are You Mine To Keep?

Rating: 2.5

I haven’t slept in so long
like new penguin father longing for his mate
like a cold winter
I wait and wait
I haven’t slept in so long
like the waiting for your lover
like the time spent away
I wait and wait
I haven’t slept in so long
but I won’t sleep
until you are here
and are mine to keep
