Arise Poem by Smoky Hoss

Arise

Early this morning the sun rose into blue
the sky followed in a deep orange hue,
birds began to sing
while still, or upon the wing,
trees joined in
happily dancing with the wind,
flowers through the air
scattered a joyful aroma, here and there,
all matter of nature, great and small,
heard the rising Creator's call,
'Come one, come all.'
