Arise o youth of Africa!
Rise up and take your stand
Time is now to lead the pack
Era of glory for us has come
A new dawn is born as the dark night is gone.

Africa our continent of honey and milk
Police brutality and corruption punctures her pride
Africa our continent of diamond and gold
Bad governance and insecurity snatches her worth
Who do she seek to console her of grief?

How much longer are our dreams be battered?
How much longer are we lost in the obscurity
Of leaders with dimmed lamps leading the path?
Brace up youth for the continent is bitter!
Be valiant and lift our nations to glory and might.

The bloodshed of martyrs at freedom call
Shall never and never be in vain
When we stir the revolt wheel to our destiny cause
And mount our nations on the glory rock
Have courage youth, the time is now.
