Cuckoo sat on tree
Even thought she was free
Had freedom to sing
And happiness to bring
Was it to bring only joy?
For others to enjoy
In the early morning
With sweetness in melodious singing
I sat on simple cot
But was simply caught
Many friends asked about worry
I answered none and expressed sorry
Many may come to see
Appreciate out beauty
White face and red cheeks
All these they wanted to seek
What were they searching?
What were they actually preaching?
No one asked me about my wish
I cried for moment and tried to finish
I will bring down head and feel shy
They will ask more questions and try
I shall answer no more and nod
They will take it as girl’s load
I thought for a moment
Girls are present
Only to serve as beautiful doll
Receive the guests and respond the call
