As I Lie Poem by Lorraine Bennike

As I Lie

As I lie on this bed alone I often wonder what has become of us.
Why do your warm kisses chill my bones and the touch of your hand turns my skin to stone. For you use to love me the one that I adore. As I lie on this bed alone your body beside me but your love is gone......... So I lie here alone
