Early in the morning when the surroundings are so quiet, each sound becomes so distinct in our ears! It is a pleasant experience to wake to the sound of bird songs after a sound sleep!

i think we need the songs, the sounds, of birds and crickets, of nature, and we are lessened without them... i just made some changes to this poem. i'd be interested to get your feedback on weather the changes are an improvement... as always, thank you for your comments. -glen
