As I Watched You Die Poem by Kandi Behagg

As I Watched You Die

I know my eyes should still be crying
But they are forever dry because I watched you die
A million wishes were weighting on your mind underneith the stars
That were left behind
I saw it in your eyes as I watched you die
Reliant on my chidhood fantacies they are now just memories
At last relief and peace and free
I saw it in you eyes as I watched you die
With no more question and no more doubt
I know your fight was through
I saw it in your eyes as I watched you die

This is very beautiful! A deeply touching poem! A natural flow and the repetition of the title is timed well throughout. My eyes are leaky after reading it! Cyber hugs ((()))
