Compared to most people my worries seem small
In fact i have been lucky in life over all
If i die tomorrow this withme will be okay
I have had a good life and lived for many a day
Lady luck she has often been smiling my way
I have been luckier than most have been in truth i can say
Some in the school yard with in childhood i did play
Not as lucky as me where the dead are they does lay
Yes i do feel quite lucky as the word can be
On my next birthday i will be seventy three
I am in good health without an ache or pain
And have nothing about of which to complain
Of big cares and worries i am one who lives free
Yes i am quite lucky as lucky can be
