As Paradise Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

As Paradise

Rating: 2.8

You feel it as paradise
Which was sheer desertion of promises?
Sun and moon never failed to rise
You only fled from scene and surprised

There was nothing to part
As you preferred to depart
Life was not meant as you thought to be
We were god's child and very free

You chose wrong side
Dark and valley so wide
You were buried deep inside
But I say you were wrong and there is nothing to hide

You ended life in despair
How much I was eager to pair
You did cowardice act and left me alone
I was left to the mercy of wolves and lone

What do you think world may do with?
They will tear me apart and eat muscles with teeth
I shall be disgraced with horrible comments
If that was what you thought and forcefully sent

I am near to your grave
Still feel strong and brave
I did not leave you even in critical times
You leave behind uncertainties sometimes
