As Sirat: The Bridge Poem by Ishrat khan

As Sirat: The Bridge

Afterlife, a bridge that heart may never imagine
Gonna as wide as hair nd as narrow as margin
Thinner than hair strand; like the sharpest sword above the blazing fire
After every discernment; the seriousness going to be dire
There will be a flashlight emitted on each nd every toe
To move ahead or not while crossing to know
It will go on and off for the step you make to stop
When it signal off you just do not walk
Depending on the level of your imaan you will crawl
But with no good deeds nd been vicious ever you'll fall
Out of compulsion everyone will trudge through it
It's a decree of Lord that must be accomplished
With whom Allah is pleased soon they'll shine nd fly
On the bridge of As sirat like a tornado or in blink of an eye
The first group will include people with flash of lightning
The second category will pass quickly like a wind
The third one will proceed like the fastest horse
the fourth group of people will move as fast as cow
And the other group stuck between hell nd heaven known as Ar-araf
Who sinned nd repented later won't fall off the path
Those who prayed in a Masjid when the days were dark
For they prayed fajr nd isha for the paradise to unlock
Into the hot burning fire every sinner is a slipper
With tears in his eyes Ar rasul will pray 'forgive nd save my people'
