As Spring Arrived Poem by Debendra Majhi

As Spring Arrived

There is cheer in the air,
Also chirpping everywhere,
Stems and branches newly dressed up,
As spring arrived.

Wind changing its direction,
Dry leaves litter
On the pavements and gardens,
Dahlias and hollyhocks bloom,
In the nurseries and in the lawns,
As spring arrived.

Air is filled with
Flauting colours,
Haunting fragrance,
Lending all credence.

Palas stand tall,
The flag bearer,
Flooding the sky-line,
With forest flames.
As Sring arrived.

Everything seems in changing mode,
The heaven will soon be on the side-road.
As Sping arrived.
