Campbell Remembered Poem by Debendra Majhi

Campbell Remembered

Knew no Lord Ullin
Nor his daughter
But remember a poem
Once in my school chapter.

The "Lord" was tyrant
But loved his daughter
Yet could not swallow
Her love adventure.

One fine day
She waited at the bay
With her only belonging
That was her heart.

Chased by her father
Crouched with her lover
No means to go across
Only a sailor
And his sail-boat.

Sea was furious
So was the "Lord"
One at the mid-sea
The other at the shore.

Loathe and Love thrown around
Amidst the roaring sound
Sea and She seem in arms,

Both(Sea & Lord)calmed down
As rest were drowned,
No land or sands
To en-carve love imprints.
