As Summer Ends (This Was A Challenge Title And 5 Specific Words Were Given)

Rating: 3.5

The morning dew reminds us Summer's ending
As falling leaves lay SPREAD upon the ground
The HEDGES that were once the homes of blackbirds
Seem lifeless as they turn from green to brown

The PATH is long from Summer until Springtime
Nature's PICTURE alters every day
But with each change I'll still be CHASING rainbows
Giving thanks to God for the beauty sent my way
