As The Night Comes In Poem by Peter S. Quinn

As The Night Comes In

Rating: 5.0

As the night comes in
I hear the flowing water
In its streaming travelin'
As it squashes and splatter!
Through time alone
With the winds of cry mystery
On down flow pebble stone
That time polishes for free

Every breezing blow
That circles here around
Gives mirror glow
On waves in stillness bound
Like eternity
That comes to my eyes
Forever so free
In its low voiced disguise

As the night comes here
With its times and talking
Days are to follow everywhere
In their distances and walking
For you and I are living
On to this moments of going
Where life's reality is giving
Footsteps of its time's flowing
