As The Storm Says Goodbye

R-ising sun early Wednesday
O-pens the day with light;
S-torm waves farewell,
E-ven the chill of the night.
M-orn March twenty-ninth
O-bliterates the twilight;
N-ew dawn has broken,
G-od has set things aright.
A-fter the raindrops leave
Y-our birthday under the sky;
A-llow the beacon to shine, as the storm says goodbye.
