Heartaches Will Never Last - Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Heartaches will never last,
Nor will they forever stay;
Sorrow shall be replaced
By joy each passing day.

Once in a little while
Hearts may break and bleed;
It happens to anyone,
To call on God and plead.

The colors of life
Are not only lucid and bright;
But also dark, blue and gray,
To even the day and night.

Pain and hopelessness
Are only in one's mind;
They may be wiped out,
So leave them both behind.

No one else can cure
But you yourself alone;
Fervent devotional prayers
Shall take you from cry zone.

Smile the sweetest smile
And the world smiles too;
Cry the saddest moan,
You shall find it's only you.

Getting out of the blue
Is easier said than done;
But with God on your side
Impossible thing is none.

Forgiveness from the heart,
Forgetting things of the past;
You shall now realize,
Heartaches will never last.

    it paints every micromilimeter of life's space. like splitting of truth atom of zest of life.intricacies of locus of life as things get going.So that young sters are not confused.and march ahead.unlike our generation when confusion was there.the poem will generate more such poems spreading enthusiasm and guiding youth in tough times. Excellently rendered and well-stated, Bernard. :)
    With a smooth, even poetic flow and spot-on rhymes, your words succinctly and warmly admonish us to not forget what self-effort, faith, and prayers can accomplish when we don't give-in to the worries and doubts of heartaches.
